Project Phoenix Model Analyser is designed to allow automated cross-model analysis of many Gen models, exposing the structure and content of the procedures they contain. 

Individual procedure steps and action diagrams can be analysed interactively, or entire models can be analysed via an extract of the model to an Access database.  Having the detail of the whole model extracted means a detailed question such as where are all the places a particular function is used, can be answered in seconds.  Some of the in-built queries are designed with Project Phoenix transitions in mind – for example analysing a model to identify all the changes that would be required to convert a block mode interface to a web interface or to determine what relationships would have to be broken to implement a candidate component architecture.  This kind of information is very important for accurately scoping and planning a project but would normally be very hard to determine or even estimate accurately.
