The Project Phoenix QA Compliance tool is designed for Quality Assurance practitioners to verify conformance of CA Gen models to in-house naming standards and, where appropriate, to update CA Gen object names to conform to these standards.
                                                                                              
The tool makes use of the powerful string manipulation capabilities of Regular Expressions to determine which objects conform to standards and, more importantly, which ones do not. Where non-conformant names are found, pre-defined update rules are used to generate proposed names to replace them. A number of update rules can be created for each object, so that existing elements from the current name can be used in the proposed name. These Regular Expressions can be as simple or as complex as required. The user also then has the ability to update the CA Gen object names that have been identified.
