The Project Phoenix Test Harness Generation tool is designed for CA Gen developers to quickly and accurately create test harnesses for both Action Blocks (e.g. CBD public operations) and Procedure Step Action Diagrams.    This provides a standard, consistent, error-free interface for unit testing by both developers and testers.  In just a couple of clicks the tool will automatically create test harnesses for as many action diagrams as you select. 

For an Action Block, the test harness created consists of a Server Procedure Step that calls the block, passing and receiving all the information required for processing and a Client Procedure Step which calls the Server. The Client has a window that displays all the import views that may be entered and the export views returned. 

Similarly, for a Server Procedure Step, a Client Procedure Step is created which calls the Server and incorporates a window with all the import and export views (plus command if applicable) required for testing.

Client Procedures generated include all the logic and window controls necessary to support the test process.
